He had been asked to look into potential spiritual influence of samurai by spirits during this time of trouble. Unfortunately perhaps this was qquite far from his area of expertise, he hadn't the first clue how to detect such a thing in Samurai and little idea how to end it even if he found it. That had brought him to the liabraries of the blue tiled room. Which were unfourtunately almost empty of all texts, having cleared out yesterday. XStill there was a small chance there was somethign he could find in anything that might be left over.

So look he did. Thoguh he was fairly certain he would be disappointed.

As far as Osamu can tell, the influence being felt by samurai seemed no different than reports of samurai speaking with their ancestors, albeit on a much larger scale.

Ha! So they're all just chatting to upstanding gentlemen like me. Though those particular ancestors are probably spending time in Toshigoku.

That brought a sigh from Osamu. "I guess that means we're basically funded then, huh." He offered in reply, especially where the Lion were concerned. He should likely let the Scorpion know the results, as disappointing as they were.

Miwako entered, hoping she might continue the research she and her clanmates had begun the day before. The few remaining texts weren't likely to be helpful, but she could try.

Another Phoenix followed. He looked around, at the shelves he helped empty, then pulled out one of the texts the philosophers had gifted him.

Some light reading seemed a good idea.

Granted, not everyone would find a text discussing shugenja, their rites, practices, etc as light reading. But for him, it was.

A nod of greeting was given to the pair of Phoenix as they entered, as Isamu moved about putting back his own research. He didn't immediately approach though, as they were likely about business of their own.

As the Mantis put away some texts, Miwako searched for anything that might ge helpful. She paused as they crossed paths to offer a polite bow.

The bow was returned as the young woman passed, and he lingered a moment before speaking up. He had considered not asking, but he might as well, now that them were in one place together. "Excuse me, Isawa-sama.... But could I have a Moment of your time?"

She looked up from the scroll she had found. "Yes. How can I help you?"

"It might be a bit presumptuous of me to ask, but I can't help but be a bit curious, so my Apologies in advance if I offended."

"But could I ask what your intentions were requesting all this rain?" He paused. "Or if that was really your intention at all?"

She could not hide the surprise. "May I first ask how you learned I was connected to it?
