The early evening found Otomo Ryuji taking in the sights on the Street of Scrolls. He was interested in what the vendors had to offer. |

Horonigai's bushi training is, once again, paying off all that sweat and tears. The strong Miharu hoards many bags of stuff on her arms, carrying them like a champ. Too many things being sold for cheap. Some for free, as a token of gratitude –– or bait. Not that she cared about prices or anything, but as merchants try to empty up their wares to stash some precious resources for the upcoming troublesome times, she thinks it would do good to give credit out of her reserves for those that might need more than herself. |

A startled Seppun shakes her head as if getting out of a trance. She looks to the approaching Otomo, slightly taller than herself, and she provides a good nod –– since a bow would be quite destructive. "Konbanwa, Otomo-sama. I hope Inari-no-kami has given blessings. Seppun Horonigai-desu. House of the Abdicators. Imperial Miharu. Hajime mashite. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu~" |

Ryuji retuned a bow in kind and lifted his hand. "Protocol has been established Seppun-sama, I would hate for any of your belongings here to fall. Are you sure I cannot provide assistance? Procure one of these servants to maybe assist?" |

She nods again, opening a smile. "I appreciate your care, Otomo-san." Horonigai giggles looking at herself, carrying umbrella with all those bags and parcels. "Ne, I found do many interesting gifts around. Is Otomo-san looking for something in particular?" |

"Eto." She blinks and turns her head back. Then, she turns back to the Otomo again pointing with her head for him to follow. "Come, come. I think I know what you're searching." The turns and walks toward the store. |

"I have a good 'selective' memory." She plays around while getting to the store. Once there she nods again. "I guess you can find what you're searching for in here. I have bought some myself." "Ah!" She remindes him, "There are some essences in that store, there. In case you want to stick a perfume into one of your letters. Well, I can tell by your accent that you're from Otosan Uchi. So, that should be taken for granted you'll apply." |

"Eto." She bats some long eyelashes at him. "So did I." Then, a shrug, as she adds rather puzzled, "Although I mostly stayed within the Forbidden City. Otomo-san should have probably been there. Am I missing something?" |

"No. Not at all." Ryuji found parchment that he liked. It was simple but certainly of very good quality. "Forbidden City has always been a lovely place. I for one spent most of my time in the courts. Even as a boy. Court has always been my home and my playground." |

The tall girl tilts her head, trying to further identify him, since Horonigai definitely must have seen him before. "Courts, neh!? Sokka. So I must to have seen you at a point. Not that you would recognize me. We guards all look alike in mempo with angry faces." "Ah!" She grins, finding a situation he would be able to identify her. "I often asked to polish blades at the Imperial courtroom when younger. Although I was much younger when I had that task." |

"Seppun Isoshi." Ryuji replied. "We more or less grew up together, when I wasn't in court training. I was at the wedding when he married Kitsu Chiyo." A slight smile was on the Otomo's face, remembering his friend. "I will never forget how nervous he was that day." |
