Are the weapon skill rolls in the last stage "attack rolls" for the purpose of techs and so forth?

Edit: Also, I like this event-pilogue idea. Interesting!

Does the Strategist advantage have any effect? I have a segment from the description.

Can the Crab Berserker tech apply to the attack rolls?

Related, if someone you have a kharmic tie to enters the event, can that apply too? (whether to 1 or more rolls, depending on the level of the tie?)
