For Gank Squad,

We have 2 rounds of prep, and then 5 rounds of movement, and then combat begins.

Would the bonus for coming out of Center Stance apply on Combat Round 1 (actual round 8)? or since we are moving in pre-combat rounds 3-7, would we be unable to assume center stance prior.

Would Leadership apply before Combat Round 1?

Strength of the Lion Kata adds a permanent (until kata turned off) +3 to an allies initiative, so would I have 7 rounds of +3's to give out?

In Twisted Souls, are the tsuno blades wielded by the tsuno still on the floor of the street?

This advantage has been changed from its text in the book. Whenever you call Raises for a combat Maneuver, the number of Raises required for that Raise is reduced by one (to a minimum of one

and our new Simple Attack rules:

Multiple schools allow characters to make attacks as Simple Actions, rather than Complex Actions. When a character makes two Simple attacks in a turn, they must call two Raises for no further effect on their second attack or the attack will automatically fail.

Question is, are our new Simple Attacks a Maneuver for the purposes of Bishamons?

Going forward, are we going to have Budoka act like the other extra characters where they act on the controllers initiative instead of rolling for their own?

In Gank Squad, if I activate Ride the Water Dragon during prep, will it apply to any of the damage suffered in the five round crossing montage? I am going to activate it in any case, but just curious.

No center stance due to the running and moving.

Nope, not in combat until you reach the battle.

Also, does the good water karma of the rain boost RtWD in any way? A nun can hope.

Made a post in the thread. Bushi both have Light Armor (+5 Armor TN).

What is the state of the Twin Shrines from afternoon onward on D10? Their description says they're outside the walled town. Is there an army between them and the rest of Nikesake at that point?
