Is Seppun Rank 1 Technique supposed to add in Fear Rolls, as it does with Intimidation?

Are we allowed to finagle when a spell is cast inside of a timeslot?

Example: Earths Touch with 4 raises lasts 3 hours.

A timeslot lasts 4 hours.

Could the spell be cast in the middle of said timeslot to grant it going forward for the next timeslot?

Can Kayou borrow enough armor to get up to Light Armor and a bisento for the gank squad mission?

If we have spare armour, what would it take to adjust it for a character who is roughly the same size?

E.g. a time slot and an armour smithing roll? Handwave as long as there is a thread for the purpose? It can be done off screen?

No. Fear is not a Social Skill Roll.

Ashigaru armor is available.

It would basically just be crafting the new armor, so it would take some time.

How much time? I'm happy to do so, even if it only helps for future events.

The armour is fully assembled and ready to use so I won't need any raw materials or time in the forge to make steel at least?

Equally, with the Kiau at hand and the resources in the dojo. Is it possible to assemble a suit of light armor (technically, upgrading ashigaru armor to light)?

Also, can Kayou borrow a bisento from the dojo armory? (She has every intention of returning it.)

Not enough time for upgrades. Bisento is probably not something the Lion have laying around.

It usually has clan mon on it. Otherwise no.

I should clarify then in case it was missed (sorry if so!) - I have an entire spare suit of heavy armour, assembled and ready to use.

Can I lend it to another character on day 10?

Also, in combat preparation rounds, can characters use the guard action?

Yes, that's fine.

And yes on guard, but note that it wears off on your next turn for non-Daidoji.
